Please Avoid Comparing

Every person in this world is unique in some way. But the human tendency is to compare one with other. Comparison with others sometimes becomes prejudicial. One may compare in a positive manner in order to improve other person’s qualities, another may compare in a negative manner in order to point out others faults and defects. So the objective of comparison is important. But sometimes these positive things lead to drastic and irreparable damage. I have to put an instance in order to explain this: A and B are two good friends and average in their studies. But often B gets  a bit less score than A. So in order to improve the studies of B, his mother used to compare to A and tell to follow him so that B could fetch better score. This happened every time and this continued comparison lead to hatred and jealous in B against A. And at last a good friend’s relationship was devastated. LESSON :  Even if you do comparison in a positive manner, it leads to bad consequences. I would ...

A Good Observation Sir !

I have taken the excerpt for this post from the blog of Pattabhi sir . He speaks, "no person is really busy for you unless he expects some worth from you. When the guy says he was busy, it means he doesn't want to do what you expect him to do". I agree with you sir “in conformity “. I was wondering how people say that i dint have time to meet you or to contact you, and how they afford the same time for others. You are of course right to judge that “Life is all about Prioritisation”, people are pre-occupied with lots of work but is it not worth to have some emotional thought that when a person gives a prominence to other, then the other should respect it, if not now then at some other time.

Chartered Accountancy as Career

(NOTE: This post is purely my personal opinion, and in not any way related to any opinion expressed by any person or organization or any legal body) Being a student of Chartered Accountancy (CA) course I should say that I am into one of the prestigious profession. But when i interact with a common or layman it has been difficult to make them understand what this course is about. You say to them i am a engineer / doctor, pat they understand that this profession is about something from science field. CA course is still lagging behind all other professions because of its inherent limitations: 1. CA institute which is an autonomous body similar to that of IIM or IIT formed by a special law restricts itself from advertising. Even a practising CA can’t advertise about his practice or approach clients because it contravenes his professional ethics framed by CA institute. But in the recent past amendments were made to enable practising CA’s to advertise in a limited manner. Thanks to the g...

It is the best suited language for computer software. (Forbes magazine, July 1987). 5.       Ayurveda is the earliest system of medicine known to humans. 6.       The art of navigation originated in the river Sindh 6000 years ago. Navigation comes from the Sanskrit word  "Nav Gatih". 7.       Bhaskaracharya calculated the time taken by earth to orbit the sun as 365.258756484 days (in 5th century AD) 8.     ...

Does a FLYing Business man have Emotions!

Its good news that jet airways has taken back its employees, after a emotional speech by Mr. Chairman of the company. Does this emotion really was a "emotion" or was a result of harsh warning from various sections including aviation ministry, will be a mystery and controversy. "Don't tame dogs when you cant control them..." should be the new quote:A Chairman of a company doesn't even know about some 1900 of his employees are being sacked for cost cutting by his management(which he cant control). He gives a childish reason that he was out of city at the time of implementation of the decision. These type of decisions are generally taken at a high level board meeting which is headed by the chairman of the company, and after his assent. And this guy dint know about all this stuff, it seems.... "LOGON KE KAAN MEIN ACHA PHOOL LAGAYA HE SIRJI APNE"

Watching "Blood Diamond"

No wonder why this movie wont be nominated for Oscars. The 2006 released movie (I was late watching it) set in the backdrop of civil war in Africa shows how the diamonds are used by western influential powers  to indirectly sponsor wars in poor countries. It was like innocent people over there(Africa) are living to be killed by someone for his selfish needs. The plight of small children being forcibly inducted into revolutionary army, with guns in their hand, trained to kill, shows the brutality of a man over other. The characters of Leonardo di Caprio and Djimon Hounsou(African born actor) were splendid. But the plot being prolonged for a small extent seems to make movie a bit lackluster and you may raise your fingers on some scenes like, both the protagonists crossing the battle laden streets swiftly  being untouched by a single round and the local tribal protecting their village with guns easily believe the white (alien) people as journalists(pretending). But the climax bei...
