Friendship - A Short Story - Part 2

Yes he was hurt and yes he was angry. And it is true that sometimes in the flow of time it reminds him of the pain. But it’s not too much. It’s common for being a human. And that was a past tense. He has learnt to take things easy and light. The baggage is long dropped. Now that he is having a life of his own is the evidence that he has returned to  a stage where Life has its own flow. Yes he was hurt and yes he was angry. But he never had grudges or qualms against anyone. People have come and People have gone. He never stopped anyone from being his friend. People have their own choices and have their own limitations, and he respect’s each one of them. Yes he was hurt and yes he was angry. But he still longs for Friendship. It is friendship which defines the state of deep understanding. In friendship the hurting is mutual and so is forgiveness. We are in a world full of uncertainty. And Friendship is the only binding factor between us. 

Friendship - A Short Story - Part 1

Few days back I got this mail from one of my friend. And as I felt that it holds true for all, so I wanted to share it with you. Following is what one must look into FRIENDSHIP as: A Story tells that two friends were walking through the Desert. During some point of the Journey, they had an argument and one friend slapped the other one in the face. The one who got slapped was hurt, but without saying anything, wrote in the sand - TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SLAPPED ME IN THE FACE. They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a bath. The one who had been slapped got stuck in the mire and started drowning, but the friend saved him. After he recovered from the near drowning, he wrote on a stone - TODAY MY BEST FRIEND SAVED MY LIFE. The friend who had slapped and saved his best friend asked him, "After I hurt you, you wrote in the sand and now, you write on a stone, Why?"
