Please Avoid Comparing

Every person in this world is unique in some way. But the human tendency is to compare one with other. Comparison with others sometimes becomes prejudicial. One may compare in a positive manner in order to improve other person’s qualities, another may compare in a negative manner in order to point out others faults and defects. So the objective of comparison is important. But sometimes these positive things lead to drastic and irreparable damage. I have to put an instance in order to explain this:
A and B are two good friends and average in their studies. But often B gets  a bit less score than A. So in order to improve the studies of B, his mother used to compare to A and tell to follow him so that B could fetch better score. This happened every time and this continued comparison lead to hatred and jealous in B against A. And at last a good friend’s relationship was devastated.
LESSON:  Even if you do comparison in a positive manner, it leads to bad consequences.
I would like to tell you another thing. Even a company in its balance sheet at the year end gives accounting figures comparison with relevant figures of previous year and not with other companies.
And this is framed by law.
So we should always try to compare” us with us’ and not them”. We should try to point out our own mistakes and rectify them.
